GETTING THERESeveral large carriers provide daily flights between Johannesburg and Maputo, including LAM , Nationwide, British Airways and SAA. LAM (the Mozambiquan national carrier) provides domestic flights connecting Maputo to Inhambane, Pemba and Vilanculos.Direct flights are available daily between Johannesburg to Vilanculos Airport. Flights are also available from Kruger Mpumulanga airport to Vilanculos, although these are limited to two departures weekly. Islands hops are available from Vilanculos airport on the mainland to Benguerra and Bazaruto islands. All flight details given above are subject to change and availability. |
