Car Hire in South Africa and Namibia
We utilise the services of well established international car hire companies for your car hire requirements. A full range of cars are available to cater for your driving requirements (including large MPV for groups, luxury and sports vehicles for city driving and automatics for some of our American clients!).
The road infrastructure in South Africa and Namibia is well signposted and maintained, and we are able to include GPS systems (pre-loaded with your exact itinerary if required). We rent vehicles on standard and full insurance cover, although recommend full cover as the preferred option.

Point-to-Point transfers and Chauffer drive
We are able to arrange convenient transfer service that sees our Chauffeurs take you from A to B, any hour of the day and any time of the week. We recommend this service to clients that are arriving in a foreign city and would like to get their bearings before venturing out with their own rental car. For visitors to the Cape Winelands, it is a good decision pre-arranging a chauffer drive if you intend on indulging in the fruits of the vine for the day!
Scheduled Air Travel
We generally recommend for our clients to book their international routing themselves in their country of origin (as this proves more cost efficient)
Once you are on African soil, allow us to manage all of your local flight logistics for easy coordination of all your travel services. A number of commercial and low cost airlines are available within Southern Africa.
Light Aircraft flights in Africa
When visiting some of the more remote safari destinations in Africa, you will be required to travel by light aircraft. These slower and lower flying aircraft provide an excellent opportunity to get a view of the destination from the air and spot animals from your aircraft before you even land at your lodge. Please note that there are luggage restrictions for these aircraft, generally not more than 12-15kgs (depending on the altitude of the airstrip) that must be packed in soft bags. Heavier passengers (over 100kgs/220lbs) need to pre-advise us.
