Marcus Brain
Managing Director

Background: Born and bred in South Africa, I completed my schooling in Cape Town and went on to finish honours degrees in both Marketing and Finance at the University of Cape Town. With a passion for all Africa offers, the decision to start an internet based tour operator was an obvious one.

Business Ethos: We consider ourselves privileged to be involved in a business such as South Africa 365. It operates in a landscape that merges the best of technology, foreign exchange and tourism, where we are able embrace the internet to share Southern Africa to the world, whilst driving much needed foreign currency into the region.

And the name South Africa 365? Although we now offer specialist travel services to most of Sub-Saharan Africa, our initial market was South Africa. We find that travelers to Sub Saharan Africa use South Africa as a springboard to destinations outside of our borders, and few of our clients don’t spend at least a few days in South Africa. The 365 implies we offer destinations for 365 days of the year (and we think its quite catchy addition)

Michael Brain
Non-Executive Chairman

With business acumen developed across a multitude of industries, Mike is invaluable in guiding the long term growth and strategic direction of South Africa 365. He is the managing director of a JSE listed company, and serves on the board of companies ranging from logistics to FMCG.
His belief in the success of South Africa as a nation is infectious and extends to everything that he does.

Lawrence Jumba
Accountant

Born and raised in Kenya, Lawrence completed his schooling in Uganda, before moving to the United States to complete his studies and start his career. With a BS in Computer Science Engineering and Masters of Busniess Administration at Northwestern Polytechinic University, Lawrence certainly has all of the credentials in place to run a seamless accounting department.

Lawrence is fluent in English, Swahili and Luganda and is a great go-between for our East African suppliers. Lawrence is integral to ensuring the smooth running of your safari, ensuring balances are captured on time from clients, and suppliers are paid on time. Weekends are spent swimming or biking in beautiful Cape Town.

Gino Papa
Accounting Officer

With a B Comm. Honors degree from University of Natal, Gino overcomes the intricacies South African taxation and company law with ease, and makes sure all of the numbers add up when it gets a little complicated for us. Gino has been the accounting officer for South Africa 365 from inception and runs an independent financial services company, Ascent Financial.
