Classic Okavango Delta
Fully Inclusive Fly-in Safari Day 1, 2 & 3: Okavango Delta, Water Based Camp
On arrival at the Maun Airport, you will be welcomed by a South Africa 365 representative and transferred by light aircraft (approximately 30 minutes) to your safari camp in the permanent waterways of the northern Okavango Delta. Here, amongst the small islands covered with palm fringed trees and surrounded by clear water channels, is one of the greatest diversities of African plants and animal life in Botswana. The highlight of any northern Okavango safari is the opportunity to explore the area by Mokoro, a small dugout canoe professionally guided by a local Mokoro poler. Other activities include morning and evening game drives on the island, walking safaris and fishing expeditions. Day 4, 5 & 6 : Okavango Delta, Land Based Camp
After breakfast you will be transferred by light aircraft or boat to your land based Okavango Delta safari lodge situated in the Moremi Game Reserve. Arguably one of the most beautiful national parks in Africa, the 4,871 square kilometres Moremi Game Reserve has earned international acclaim. The reserve encompasses some 20% of the Okavango Delta and contains within its borders Chief's Island. Home to large herds of buffalo, elephants, zebra, rhino, lion and other game in abundance, there is plenty of wildlife to keep you enthralled for the following 3 days. Three overnights at any of our Moremi Game Reserve Safari Lodges (your consultant will advise you which is best), on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities. End of Service
