See the best that this incredible destination has to offer. 7 days of safari magic, from the expansive Makgadikgadi pans, through the intertwined rivers and deltas of the Okavango to the huge herds and apex predators of the Chobe region

Day 1 & 2: Kalahari and Makgadikgadi Pans

Upon your arrival at the Maun airport, you will be met by a South Africa 365 representative and road transferred to the Makgadikgadi Pans. This 1hr30min drive will take you through via the Maun-Nata road for arrival at your game lodge in time for lunch.

The following two days will be spent in the remarkable unique desert experience, discovering silent fossil beaches, red baobab tree and mysterious stone walls. Days can be spent on four wheel drive quad bikes or safari vehicles exploring remote archaeological sites, whilst nights are spent outdoors under a blanket of stars.
Two overnights at any of our Makgadigadi Pans Safari Lodges, on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities.

Day 3 & 4: Okavango Delta

After an early breakfast, say goodbye to the Makgadikgadi and return by road transfer to Maun Airport in time to catch your light aircraft in to the heart of the Okavango Delta.

The waterlogged paradise of the Okavango Delta is a wonder of the natural world, made up of an intricate network of channels and lagoons. It is home to one of the greatest diversities of African plants and animal life. Your days are spent exploring the crystal clear waters of the Okavango Delta by mokoro (dugout canoe) or by foot, always with a qualified guide on hand to show you the gems of this remarkable area.

Two overnights at any of our Okavango Delta Safari Lodges (including options in the Moremi and Chiefs Island area, your consultant will advise you which is best), on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities.

Day 5 & 7: Chobe National Park

Take a direct flight from the Okavango Delta into Kasane Airport, located less than 10 minutes away from the Chobe National Park. A South Africa 365 representative will meet you to transfer you directly to your Chobe Safari Lodge.

The Chobe National Park offers safari travellers the opportunity to experience four different eco-systems and contrasting views of this African wilderness. Huge herds of migratory elephant move seasonally across the Chobe National Park, and the park has an abundance of major species and apex predators like lion, leopard and wild dog.
Days are spent in safari vehicles tracking wildlife, fishing for the feisty tiger fish or simply having sundowners aboard a boat on the Chobe River.
