Day 1 - 3: The Panorana Route
Collect your car at Nelspruit airport you drive directly into Mpumalanga province, a subtropical garden of natural delights.
This area is known for its unbeatable scenic beauty, the wildlife, birds and plant life. A drive along the Panorama Route - a 70 kilometre long circular drive - provides mind expanding views of some of Africa’s most beautiful terrain. Take a peek out of God’s Window - a 600 metre high viewpoint on the edge of an escarpment - which offers magnificent views of the the Blyde River Canyon (the third largest green canyon in the world). Stretching for 60 kilometres it is filled with lush vegetation and wildlife and is an absolute treat to the senses. Visit the Pilgrim’s Rest, a beautifully restored gold mining town and also a South African national monument.

Day 3 - 5: Kruger National Park
After 3 days on in the Panorama region, its time for the world famous Kruger National Park. Established in 1896 as a prototype African wildlife sanctuary, the Kruger is approximately the size of Wales and home to an impressive number of species: 147 mammals, 336 trees, 507 birds, 49 fish, 34 amphibians and 114 reptiles. The Kruger National Park and the surrounding private game reserves (Sabi Sands, Manyelenti, Timbivati, Thornybush) create an on of the world’s truly incredible biosphere of fauna and flora.
Standard accommodation option are generall outside the border of Kruger National Park and you will enter the park each morning in your own car and view animals from the road as you explore. Luxury accommodation option are found in the private reserves such as Sabi Sands and Timbavati Private Game Reserves. Lodges are privately owned and visitors to these lodges can expect tracking animals through the bush in open top land-rovers, morning and evening/night game drives and outdoor boma dinners, actives which are not available in the public section of the park. Your consultant will advise you which of the myriad of lodges is most suited to what you are looking for.
