General Information:

The latest addition to the Tintswalo Collection is Tintswalo Atlantic. The magnificent lodge is situated in one of the most stunning locations in Southern Africa! Positioned at the base of Chapman’s Peak, Tintswalo Atlantic overlooks the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay. Stylish yet understated, Tintswalo Atlantic offers home-away-from-home comforts, discreet service and mouthwatering culinary creations in the most beautiful setting. Nestled unobtrusively between the boulders of the Atlantic Ocean's water’s edge and the slopes of the Cape Mountain Fynbos Reserve, known worldwide for its extraordinary rich and diverse fauna and flora - no trees were removed and not so much as a branch was cut from the Milkwood trees that grace the shoreline - Tintswalo Atlantic offers absolute seclusion and relaxation, with the ocean literally a stone’s throw away from the pebbled beach!

Accommodation:

The Tintswalo Atlantic suites are authentically decorated to emulate the experiences and colours of various well-known islands of the world. The air-conditioned suites are quite literally, situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Each room has its own unique view of the ocean and the majestic Sentinel across the bay. The suites promise supreme comfort and privacy, and whale watching is an effortless activity at certain times of the year. Spacious en-suite bathroom, all with his and her basins as well as showers also enjoy an uninterrupted marine view. Presidential Suite, Elba & Corsica Islands - There is a prominent French influence (Huguenot) in the Cape. We therefore went for a "Country-French-Chic" feel in this luxurious suite, evoking classic French elements but bringing it in line with a contemporary style - thus adding an interesting “twist" to it.  Every suite has an extra length double or twin bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioners, and small private deck.

Dining:

The Tintswalo Atlantic kitchen is a very personal one, headed by Louise Brink. The culinary wizards' sole objective is to give guests the feeling of a home away from home. The kitchen and dining room are open plan and designed in such a way that guests are encouraged to have a seat at the counter (with a glass of legendary Cape wine) while watching the Tintswalo's chefs in action, as they weave their magic. Guests staying at Tintswalo Atlantic are treated to a sublime breakfast, and afternoon tea. 'A La Carte' lunches and dinners are also available.

Pool:

From the long wooden deck with its heated Jacuzzi pool and comfortable loungers, one has a feeling of being suspended over the ocean.
