TOUR OUTLINE

Tours are conducted daily and depart every half hour from 8:30 – 16:30 from the park’s interactive visitors’ centre. Here you’ll be welcomed by the park’s well-informed guides who will be accompanying you on your fantastic tour. After viewing a short video presentation, you will be transported on a trailer and tractor through the fields to the elephants’ custom-built boma. Here you will have the opportunity to touch, feed, photograph and spend time with these large but gentle giants.

Knysna Elephant Park also offers a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride on elephant back or follow their footsteps with an awe-inspiring nature walk. These guided elephant safaris take you through the forest and indigenous Cape Fynbos. Enjoy spectacular views of the Outeniqua mountain range and Knysna forest. Round off this amazing experience with refreshments at the Lapa.
