DAY 1 – 3: VICTORIA FALLS
Depart on your mid-morning flight on British Airways from Johannesburg directly to the magnificent Victoria Falls, where your South Africa 365 representative will be waiting for you to transfer you to your Victoria Falls hotel.
Steeped in legend and mystery, the splendour of Victoria Falls is guaranteed to take your breath away. After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, the mighty Victoria Falls is yours to explore. On your Victoria Falls holiday, walk through the magnificent rain forest where you’ll be able to view the largest falling sheet of water in the world and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Other activities to enjoy on your Victoria Falls holiday include bungee jumping, Zambezi River cruises, cultural Mkuni Village tours, white water rafting, abseiling, elephant-back safaris and helicopter flips.
Accommodation is at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge situated a short distance from Victoria Falls. A courtesy shuttle service on the tour to Victoria Falls and key stops in town ensure guests have a convenient means of getting to other attractions and back to the lodge.
After 3 glorious days at Victoria Falls you will be transferred back to the Victoria Falls airport for a connecting flight to Cape Town on British Airways services.
DAY 3 – 7: CAPE TOWN
Collect your rental car at Cape Town Airport and discover all that this exceptional cosmopolitan city has to offer.
One of South Africa’s best holiday destinations, Cape Town is framed by the majestic Table Mountain and ringed by the blue waters of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. On your Cape Town vacation, explore the city’s many tourist attractions, including Cape Point, the Table Mountain Cable Car, V & A Waterfront, Robben Island, Cape Malay Quarter, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and many more.
No Cape Town vacation would be complete without a trip to the lush Cape Winelands – South Africa’s largest wine producing region. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town, the Cape Winelands produces some of the finest wines in the world ranging from whites and reds to sherries, ports and brandies. On your Cape Winelands tour, explore the original cellars of the first farmers in the Cape, sample fine wines and learn about the intricate processes used to produce them.
The 5-star Radisson Hotel will be your base for the duration of your Cape Town vacation on a bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 7 – 10: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
After 4 glorious days in Cape Town, fly to Kruger National Park for the start of your unforgettable Kruger safari. (Please note that no stop-over is necessary in Johannesburg.)
Upon arrival, a safari ranger will be waiting to transfer you a short distance to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge situated in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, which shares unfenced borders with the famous Kruger National Park.
As South Africa’s largest and most renowned game reserve, the Kruger National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Your days will be spent on game drives, exploring the vast African bush on open Land Rovers, accompanied by experienced rangers. On your Kruger safari you will have an excellent chance of close encounters with the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo), as well as wild dog, cheetah, giraffe and a host of other colourful inhabitants. The reserve is also a birdwatcher’s delight with over 350 species to attract your attention.
After 3 days of safari bliss, your African holiday comes to an end and you are transferred to Kruger Mpumulanga Airport for your direct flight to Johannesburg.
