DAY 1 – 4: CAPE TOWN

Upon your arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by a South Africa 365 representative and transferred to Ellerman House, a luxurious boutique hotel offering magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean.

One of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the world, Cape Town is yours to explore. On your Cape Town holiday, discover the city’s many tourist attractions including trips up Table Mountain, visits to Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the Two Oceans Aquarium, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the Malay Quarter.  Take a break from sightseeing and tan on the popular white sand beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, followed by soothing cocktails at one of the many beachside cafes.

Your Cape Town holiday wouldn’t be complete without a drive to the scenic Cape Winelands – the largest wine producing region in South Africa. Spend the day exploring the original cellars which date back to the first farmers in the Cape, sample world-class wines and see the intricate processes used to produce them.

Please note: Your dedicated consultant will assist in booking tours of the city and surrounds and reserving tables at Cape Town’s finest restaurants.

DAY 4 – 6: ROVOS RAIL TO PRETORIA

This morning you will be taken to the Cape Town station to embark on your two-night rail journey to Pretoria aboard the luxurious Rovos Rail.

As you step aboard the elegant ‘Pride of Africa’ you are greeted by wood-panelled couches, which have been beautifully remodelled and refurbished to mint condition. Your memorable journey begins as the train meanders slowly through the scenic Cape Winelands and on to the quaint Karoo town of Matjiesfontein. Here you’ll disembark for a leisurely stroll through this historic settlement and visit the town’s museum.

Your journey continues to Kimberley, where you’ll disembark and proceed by mini-van for a tour of Kimberley’s ‘Big Hole’ and the Diamond Mine Museum. On the final day of your luxurious rail journey, the train will pass through Krugersdorp, Johannesburg and Germiston, en-route to Pretoria.

DAY 6 – 9: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

On arrival in Pretoria you will be met by a South Africa 365 representative and transferred to Johannesburg airport for your direct flight to the exclusive Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.

Sharing an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Reserve is the oldest private reserve in South Africa. Home to a vast wildlife population, your days on safari will be spent tracking the Big 5 (rhino, lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo), as well as a number of endangered species on game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles.

We recommend staying at Singita Ebony or Singita Boulders situated within the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.

After 4 days on safari, you will depart the Sabi Sands and return to Johannesburg International Airport to catch your connecting flight home.
