Accommodation:

Clean lines, dark African woods and contemporary artwork by local artisans accentuate the 131 spacious rooms and suites - the largest in all of Cape Town. The generous interior spaces are adorned with fabrics and furnishings recalling the warm, muted tones of Africa's savannahs, with bright splashes of colour paying tribute to the land's vibrant personality. Sumptuously appointed oversized baths are complete with roomy rain shower, private water closet and dual marble vanity.  All rooms and suites are indulged by the discreet yet attentive services of a dedicated butler, 24 hours a day.

Dining:

World-class master chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa expands his eponymous empire with the debut of his first restaurant in Africa – his third for Kerzner International. No stranger to worldly culinary influences, Nobu gives classical Japanese cuisine a contemporary twist. Diners can indulge in fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices in mesmerising dishes such as Sake Roast Whitefish with Jalapeno or the Chocolate Bento Box; a dark chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream and a sesame seed tuile. The Nobu Lounge on the upper level features a selection of Sakes including plum wines, Japanese beer and a selection of Sake and Shochu based cocktails. Meanwhile, The Ceviche Bar, which is often attended by Nobu's Head Chef, dispenses a variety of inventive small-plate Japanese tapas dishes.

Air adventures - There's skydiving, hang-gliding and paragliding, each offering some of the best views of South Africa’s dramatic coast and lush hinterland.

Pools and beaches - A 350-square-metre free-form, infinity-edge heated pool is located on the Island featuring private sitting areas with double chaise lounges ideal for sunbathing or relaxing under shaded pavilions.

Diving - For those wanting to get to the action below the water, the Cape Peninsula offers several top scuba spots. The water is cold, but it's well worth the experience. Amateurs can participate in diving courses - these can be arranged from a variety of surf and dive shops around the city.
