Accommodation:

The Mount Nelson Hotel boasts six individual accommodation wings, each with its own unique character, private gardens and facilities. The 201 spacious rooms & suites are individually decorated and feature the latest in 21st century conveniences. Our rooms are as follows: Luxury Rooms, Superior Rooms, Accessible rooms, Junior Rooms, Executive Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Penthouse Suites and Garden Cottage Suites. The Luxury Rooms have an understated charm, complemented by modern luxury for the discerning traveller.

All rooms have an en-suite bathroom which vary in size depending on the location of the room; equipped with separate shower, bath, basin and lavatory. Bathroom amenities include a range of exclusive L'Occitane soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

The Executive Suites are grander and more distinctive than the Junior Suites, offering spacious open-plan lounges and dining areas.
 

Dining:

Fine dining has long been a tradition at the Mount Nelson Hotel. We are proud to offer guests a choice of venues, each with its own individual style, for you to enjoy the very best cuisine in Cape Town. The Cape Colony is renowned for its food, prepared with an abundance of fresh local produce and tantalizing spices to surprise and delight the palate. Bistro-style al fresco dining is offered in the Oasis Restaurant, and famous Afternoon Teas are served daily in the Lounge. The stylish bar, Planet, provides the perfect setting for sipping champagne and cocktails under the African night sky. Combine a sumptuous meal with an overnight stay.

Pool:

The Mount Nelson Hotel boasts two heated swimming pools within the hotel’s lush ‘urban oasis’ garden setting. The Oasis Pool is one the largest heated pools in South Africa. Centrally located, it’s perfectly suited to families, and come summer, it’s the place to see and be seen at. The Cottage Pool is reserved for guests over the age of twelve. Located in a secluded spot, it’s perfect for guests wanting to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Light lunches and drinks are served at the Oasis Pool all year round. Service is available at the Cottage Pool from November to March.
