Day 1 - 4: Sabi Sabi, Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve

From Johannesburg International Airport, board a short flight on to the world famous Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve (situated within the Greater Kruger National Park)

Step out of the aircraft directly into Big 5 territory, where your safari ranger will be waiting to transfer you a short distance to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. At the lodge, you are welcomed with warm smiles and refreshments, where you can get into your khakis and to slow down to African bush speed.

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is one of the founding lodges in the Sabi Sands area and offers the highest standards and attention to detail. At 25 rooms, it is not considered a small lodge but there is a great buzz after safaris discussing your sightings with fellow guests whist relaxing on the viewing deck (should you prefer a more intimate luxury experience, try the sister lodge Sabi Sabi Little Bush Lodge with only 6 rooms)

This area is alive with wildlife activity, and is home to an impressive number of species: 147 mammals, 336 trees, 507 birds, 49 fish, 34 amphibians and 114 reptiles. The inclusive morning and evening game drives will ensure the full range of daytime and nocturnal animals.

Following a magnificent 4 day (3 nights) accommodation on a full board basis (including all meals, local beverages and 2 game drives daily), you will be transferred back to the landing strip for an onwards flight to Johannesburg.
