The Knysna Log-Inn is a beautiful boutique hotel. Situated in the heart of Knysna it is ideally located to allow its guests to enjoy the delights of the Garden Route. For those who don’t wish to leave the hotel itself there is plenty there to keep them busy. Resort facilities include an all season swimming pool as well as a sauna and Jacuzzi. There are also various shops and salons where guests can buy gifts or attend a beauty and hair salon. The restaurant, Tribes, serves fantastic food and the menu has enough depth to satisfy everyone’s culinary wishes.

Built in 1998, the Knysna Log-Inn Hotel embodies an "indigenous" concept that combines the character and the spirit of the surrounding indigenous forests with Knysna's romantic history. On entering the lobby of one of the largest log structures in the Southern Hemisphere, exquisitely carved solid Yellow wood trunks tower upwards to the magnificent Scandinavian hammer trusses. Rays of sunshine flooding through the spectacular stained glass windows, illuminate the splendid solid Yellowwood staircase. The autumn hues of the slate flooring and the extensive use of natural river stone combine with the wood to create an atmosphere of tranquil balance.
