This internationally renowned malaria-free "Big-5" private game reserve is set in 9000 hectares of pristine African wilderness incorporating the picturesque Kariega and Bushman’s Rivers, just 10 minutes from Kenton-on-sea and 80 minutes from Port Elizabeth. Situated in the heart of 1820 Settler Country, the reserve is a natural extension to a trip along South Africa’s famous Garden Route.

The River Lodge is a 5-Star quality Lodge built on the banks of the Bushmans River and comprises 10 superbly appointed spacious, air-conditioned thatched suites. The Lodge, which overhangs the river, offers exclusivity, comfort and spectacular views and includes a stunning outdoor pool   Satellite TV in main Lodge.  Unique features include boating, excellent river fishing and crabbing.  No children 10 years and under.
