Kanonkop Guest House is a 5-star, family-owned boutique retreat situated in the quaint town of Knysna, along the scenic Garden Route.  Perched on the edge of the Kanonkop Hill, Kanonkop Guest House offers spectacular views of the Knysna Lagoon and the famous ‘Heads’.

Set adjacent to the family home, Kanonokop Guest House enjoys tranquil surroundings. The guest house’s lush, indigenous garden attracts wildlife and an abundance of birds, including sunbird, wagtail and the Knysna loerie.

Rooms

Kanonkop Guest House offers luxury accommodation in five suites. Individually decorated, all the rooms are fitted with an en suite bathroom, satellite TV, WIFI, CD player and selection of CDs, under floor heating, safe, hairdryer, international adaptors, tea and coffee making facilities, fan and luxury amenities.

The room types are:

Paradise room: Situated at the top of the three floors this room is fitted with a king-sized bed, which leads out to a private balcony, offering views of the forest, Knysna Lagoon and Knysna Heads.

Sunbird room: Situated on the middle level, the Sunbird room opens onto a private balcony, overlooking the Knysna Lagoon. This room offers a separate dressing room and is fitted with either a king-size or twin beds.

Forest room: Spanning the entire lower level, the spacious Forest room allows views out through the large sliding doors into the forest and the lagoon beyond. This room offers a reading corner, private deck, work nook, and is equipped with a king-size bed (that can also convert to 2 single beds).

No Matata (no worries) and Sivuyile (be happy): These rooms offer queen-sized beds (with the option of an additional single bed) and a seating area. Each room opens out onto a wooden deck, overlooking the pool and surrounding garden.

Dining

Kanonkop Guest House offers a scrumptious breakfast, served under umbrellas on the patio or in the main dining room. Guests may enjoy relaxing drinks from the fully stocked bar, or enjoy a shot of espresso or pot of hot tea at the poolside or on your private deck.

Activities

Kanonkop Guest House offers guests a wide variety of exciting activities to enjoy on their Garden Route holiday, including bird watching, nature walks, fishing, waterskiing, wake-boarding, canoeing, sunset cruises, mountain biking, golf and swimming.
