Day 1 - 4: Cape Town

Fly into Cape Town where you will be met and transferred to the romantic boutique hotel, Les Cascades. Set high above the Atlantic ocean, this is a small and intimate hotel situated close enough to white sandy beaches, great restaurants and all of Cape Town’s best attractions. If you prefer not to venture out, relax sipping cocktails with incredible views of the ocean below.

Your group B rental car will be delivered to Les Cascades and is yours to venture out and explore the city with. Cape Town is one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Dominated by Table Mountain it is surrounded by the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and ringed with fine white sandy beaches. Trips to the Two Oceans Aquarium, Robben Island, the Kirstenbosch Botantical Gardens, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the Malay Quarter will keep you occupied during the time you aren’t sunning yourself on the beach or sipping cocktails at one of the many romantic beachside cafes.

Day 4 - 6: Cape Winelands

Less than 1.5 hours away, you will find the town of Franschhoek. Here, the secluded retreat of Mont Rochelle will provide you with the sanctuary you need, unbroken views of the rolling vineyards, breakfasts in bed and candlelight will fill the air with romance.

The winelands are the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate body and soul. Set amidst the splendour of the mountains and valleys of the Franshhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl area, your senses will be assailed by both splendid views and fine wines and cuisine. Explore the original cellars – dating back to the first farmers in the Cape – where you will be able to sample some of the world’s finest wines and learn about the intricate processes used to produce them.

Some of the finest restaurants are to be found in Franschhoek, and this town is a hive of culture and French flair!

Day 6 - 9: Kruger National Park

Today, you drop your rental car at Cape Town International Airport from where you will catch your connecting flights on to the Kruger Park area for 3 nights of romance and adventure in the wilds.

Simbambili Game Lodge located in the private game reserve of the Sabi Sands is your bush base. This lodge is small and located in prime game viewing areas. Your private chalet has its own deck with plunge pool, where you can laze in and spot wildlife from the pool.

Your day will consist of lavish foods, game drives and naughty afternoon siestas. Evening private bush dinners with only the dark African wilds surrounding you and a ceiling of stars to accompany the candles are one of the many treats you can expect as a honeymoon couple.

Day 9 - 13: Mozambique Beach

Fly directly from the Kruger area to Vilanculos and the central islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago, the honeymoon destination of choice for beach lovers.

Marlin Lodge is on Benguerra Island and is our favorite honeymoon destination. Here, the suites are stretched along the beach, each with a private walkway and sea view. Honeymooners receive the African Bush Bath (A woven Ilala palm leaf enclosure, decorated with an array of local island flowers, holds two galvanised baths, which are filled with hot water and scented bubbles) and a bottle of sparkling wine: This can be enjoyed on the day of your arrival, or served with the bush bath.

Pristine coral reefs abound with all types of sealife which is why Mozambique is one of the premiere scuba diving destinations worldwide. Other activities include fishing, horse riding along the beach, solitary walks along the white sandy shores, snorkelling, boat rides and above all the romance of its immaculate beaches lined with palm trees and warm blue waters.

Candlelit seafood dinners, luxurious breakfasts accompanied by the sounds of lapping waves and drawn out sunset cocktails are the norm in this romantic beach paradise.

From Vilanculos you will be flown straight back to Johannesburg to catch your connecting flight home.
