Guludo Beach Lodge is situated on one of the finest beaches in Mozambique, offering guests a good slice of barefoot luxury at its best. A true eco-friendly lodge, Guludo Beach Lodge incorporates traditional building styles and natural materials. Designed to create an aura of total relaxation, the decor is colourful and inviting with hand made pottery and romantic hand crafted netting.

Guludo Beach Lodge offers a perfect mix of unspoiled coastline and African wilderness. Guests may enjoy spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities of elephant, antelope, primates, warthogs and even some of the large cats.

Rooms

Guludo Beach Lodge offers accommodation in 9 luxurious bungalows. Beautifully designed and furnished, the rooms are fitted with queen or king-size beds, fans, mosquito nets and tea and coffee making facilities.

The room types are:

Adobe Banda: The sleeping area is located on a raised platform and behind the bedroom is a large open-air bathroom. A huge shower completes a Zen-like space where you can relax, unwind and shower under the canopy of bright stars.

Banda Suite: These suites boast a spacious lounge with a mezzanine which is located across a covered walkway from the beautiful bedroom. Each suite has a quirky alfresco bathroom with a unique "loo with a view" over looking Guludo's breathtaking beach.

Family Banda: The banda comprises of two adjoining buildings, one side houses a lounge and space for the children to sleep safely under mosquito nets, while the other side has a large bedroom for the parents with an extravagant king-sized bed.

Zala Suite: Set at the end of the lodge, this suite ensures maximum privacy and space – ideal for honeymooners or couples on a romantic holiday. The Zala Suite offers a private central courtyard for completely secluded sun-bathing during the day and a romantic candle-lit open air star bed at night.

Dining

Meals at Guludo Beach Lodge are a delicious blend of Mozambican and Swahili flavours with an intercontinental twist. Indulge in freshly caught seafood while enjoying magnificent views of the sea at the lodge’s restaurant, and end off the day with a refreshing drink at the rustic bar.

Activities

Guludo Beach Lodge offers a range of activities to enjoy on your Mozambican holiday such as snorkelling, scuba diving, bush walks, beach archery, swimming, beauty treatments, village football, Guludo discos, cultural village visits and sunset sails on a dhow (dug-out canoe).

Children can also enjoy a wide variety of activities including volleyball, bush picnics, local-style fishing from a dhow, whale watching, guided wildlife walks and sailing on a dhow.
