Footsteps Across the Delta is an intimate tented camp located in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Boasting a rustic bush atmosphere, Footsteps Across the Delta offers guests the ultimate opportunity to experience a traditional Okavango safari.

Set in an untamed region with a number of contrasting habitats, Footsteps Across the Delta is surrounded by riverine forest, palm islands, permanent swamps and dry sandveld – providing exclusive accommodation in a spectacular natural setting.

Situated in an area with an unparalleled wealth of animal diversity, guests at Footsteps Across the Delta may enjoy spectacular viewing opportunities of lion, buffalo, elephant, hippo, wild dog and cheetah, as well as a variety of plains game including giraffe, zebra, impala, wildebeest and herds of lechwe.

Rooms

Footsteps Across the Delta offers comfortable accommodation in three insect-proof tents. Specially designed with sewn-in floors, tents offer a vanity table, small clothes storage stand and comfortable twin-beds - which are warmed up with a hot water bottle on cool winter nights. Each tent has its own private bucket shower, bush toilet, portable basin and a mirror stand under an awning outside your tent.

Dining

Footsteps Across the Delta’s bush kitchen offers delicious cuisine, complimented by fine South African wines. Enjoy soups, casseroles and vegetables which are cooked in great cast iron pots and served piping hot at a beautifully decorated dinner table or under the African skies.

Activities

Footsteps Across the Delta offers the highlights of a true safari experience with activities such as early morning and late afternoon game drives, bush dinners, mokoro (traditional canoe) excursions, walking safaris, fishing trips and bird watching.
