General Information

Entabeni Lakeside Lodge is a luxurious 4-star lodge, situated on the banks of Lake Entabeni in the malaria-free Waterberg region of South Africa’s Limpopo Province. Set amidst soaring peaks and bluffs, Entabeni Lakeside Lodge provides family-friendly accommodation in the hub of unspoilt wilderness.

Made up of thatch and stone, this lakeside lodge creates a unique blend of wild surroundings and a luxurious atmosphere. Boasting a peaceful setting, the tranquillity of the lake and distant bush offers guests the opportunity to experience nature at its best.

Situated in the magnificent Entabeni Private Game Reserve, the area is home to the Big 5 (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard) as well as a diverse range of bird species. The famous hippos of Entabeni may also be spotted from the comfort of your room.

Rooms

Entabeni Lakeside Lodge offers accommodation in 24 rooms, including nine family rooms. The rooms are elegantly decorated and are linked with thatched walkways to the reception, restaurant and boma (outdoor enclosure) areas. Comfortably well-appointed, the luxurious bedrooms boast en-suite bathrooms fitted with baths and showers, cosy fireplaces for those cold winter nights, and a private deck offering spectacular lake views. All rooms are equipped with a mini-bar, safe, electric blankets, hairdryer, telephone, fan, magazines and tea and coffee making facilities.

Dining

Entabeni Lakeside Lodge offers a delicious combination of traditional African dishes and classic European cuisine, prepared with only the freshest selected produce. Meals can be enjoyed in a variety of dining locations ranging from the Lakeside Restaurant, to the lakeside boma set under the African skies or various outside venues. Drinks can be enjoyed in the well-stocked Springbok Bar.

Rejuvenate with a range of beauty and therapeutic treatments at the lodge’s Wellness Centre, or shop for souvenirs of your Limpopo safari at the well-stocked curio shop. For those who wish to explore the reserve, Entabeni Lakeside Lodge offers a wide variety of fun activities for guests to enjoy including, game drives, bush walks, horse riding, helicopter flips, bird watching, star gazing, abseiling, quad biking, hiking, boat cruises and a cultural village tour.
