Dating back to the bygone era of the 1800s, the old farmhouse, stables and milking parlour have been beautifully restored and fitted with modern conveniences. Tastefully furnished with antiques, Victorian decor and family heirlooms, De Opstal Country Lodge has an old world ambience – ensuring a luxurious stay.

De Opstal Country Lodge offers accommodation in 21 elegant en-suite rooms. Boasting an atmosphere of rustic charm, rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, safe and television with M-Net. Family units and wheel-chair friendly rooms are also available.

Superior rooms: These luxurious rooms are fitted with twin or queen-sized beds and offer a bathroom with spa bath and shower, fireplace and private patio overlooking the garden, pool and mountains.

Enjoy traditional Cape cooking combined with Klein Karoo cuisine, served at De Opstal Country Lodge’s farm-style restaurant.
