Damaraland Camp is a luxury tented camp, located in the pristine wilderness area of the Huab River Valley. With no fences in the area, Damaraland Camp provides a feeling of oneness with nature - presenting guests with the ultimate Namibian safari.

Boasting endless vistas across stark plains, ancient valleys and soaring peaks, Damaraland Camp offers luxurious accommodation in a superb setting. Situated in an area where local herdsmen and their livestock live side-by-side with wildlife, Damaraland Camp provides an authentic African atmosphere.

Wildlife roams freely at Damaraland Camp and guests may enjoy sightings of the rare desert elephant, gemsbok, springbok, ostrich, black rhino, oryx, kudu, giraffe, Hartmann’s mountain zebra and other species that have adapted to life in a desert environment.

Rooms

Damaraland Camp offers accommodation in 10 adobe-styled thatched units, comprising 7 twin-bedded tents, 2 double tents and a family unit. All tents have a walk-in dressing area and en-suite bathroom with double basin and shower. Assuring your comfort, tents are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, fan, safe, insect repellent, torch and a private, shaded veranda – perfect for viewing the magnificent surroundings.

Dining

Meals at Damaraland Camp are prepared with fresh produce that is flown in to Damaraland Camp on a regular basis. Indulge in excellent African cuisine served in the camp’s dining room, or enjoy traditional safari-style dining with meals prepared over an open fire and served out in the open in an area near to the camp lit by an assortment of small lanterns. End off your day with soothing sundowners at the bar or around the outdoor boma.
