Chobe Safari Lodge nestles on the banks of the magnificent Chobe River, offering guests serene and relaxing accommodation in the heart of the Chobe wilderness. The lodge is set in a scenic location that features a series of lakes, islands and floodplains and boasts exceptional natural beauty.

Providing honeymooners and families with a truly unique African experience, Chobe Safari Lodge is situated on the doorstep of four African countries including Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Namibia - offering an excellent gateway to Victoria Falls, Chobe and Caprivi.

Chobe Safari Lodge shares borders with the game rich Chobe National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephant and buffalo. Other wildlife which may also be spotted in the area includes lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, giraffe and kudu – ensuring the ultimate safari experience.

Rooms

Chobe Safari Lodge offers accommodation in luxury River rooms, Safari rooms and traditional Rondavels. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with air-conditioning, mosquito nets, satellite television, electric safe, ceiling fan and telephone.

Rooms types:

River rooms: The luxurious twin-bed river rooms are situated close to the waters edge and offer a private patio – perfect for viewing the resident monkeys and mongooses. Family rooms include two twin bedrooms.

Safari rooms: These comfortable rooms are individually decorated and offer expansive lawns, which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your private patio. Safari rooms are within close proximity to the main lodge.

Rondavels: These traditional thatched rooms are independently positioned, offering absolute privacy.  These detached units are positioned close to the river in the lodge gardens and are a short walk to the main lodge.

Dining

Take in the fresh morning air and start your day with a delicious buffet breakfast (English or continental style) served on the terrace. Enjoy a light lunch at the Cocktail Bar,or have the staff serve you beside the refreshing pool. For dinner, indulge in African delicacies ranging from barbeques, specialist game meats, stir-fries and a selection of mouth-watering vegetarian dishes. Meals can be enjoyed al fresco at the Terrace Restaurant. At the end of your day, unwind with a sundowner at the Sedudu Sunset Bar, while marvelling at the spectacular African sunset.

Activities

Ensuring the ultimate safari experience, Chobe Safari Lodge offers morning and night game drives, boat cruises along the Chobe River and fishing for the legendary Tigerfish. Other activities include Victoria Falls & Okavango Delta day trips, Namibian village walks, scenic flights and birding. For those who prefer to spend their time at leisure, Chobe Safari Lodge offers two swimming pools, a health & beauty salon, and a well-stocked curio & craft shop.
