Casa Rex Lodge is an elegant lodge nestled amongst lush green gardens. Situated in Vilanculos in Mozambique, Casa Rex Lodge offers magnificent views of the African islands and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean – presenting guests with the ultimate Mozambican beach holiday.

Rooms

Casa Rex Lodge offers accommodation in Acacia rooms, Premium rooms, Courtyard Deluxe suite and a Honeymoon suite. All rooms are individually decorated with an island-style setting and offer a private balcony or veranda, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and mosquito nets – for your comfort.

The room types are:

Acacia rooms: These rooms feature a double bed or twin beds and are equipped with an en-suite shower, fans, internet connection, bar fridge and a private balcony.

Premium rooms: These rooms have twin beds or a double bed and are equipped with an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, fans and a terrace.

Courtyard Deluxe suite: These suites offer 2 x twin-beds, en-suite bath and shower, sitting area with day bed, bar-fridge and a private balcony.

Honeymoon suite: The beautiful honeymoon suite boasts a double bed and has an en-suite shower, private dressing area, fans and a large terrace.

Dining

Meals at Casa Rex are served on the outside terrace, offering magnificent views of the bay. Enjoy a-la-carte lunches at the lodge’s restaurant, and for dinner indulge in traditional Portuguese dishes or mouth-watering freshly-sourced seafood, served with local and imported wines. End the day with sundowners on the terrace.

Activities

A range of activities are available at Casa Rex including scuba diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, kite surfing, sunset cruises in local dhows (canoe), bird watching, whale and dolphin watching, horse riding and guided village and island walks. After an active day, relax with Spa treatments or refresh in the swimming pool, overlooking the harbour.
