DAY 1 – 5: CAPE TOWN
Collect your rental car at the airport and drive to the Victoria & Alfred Hotel, for the beginning of your Cape Town holiday.
Situated in the heart of the bustling Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the Victoria & Alfred Hotel is the perfect base from which to explore this dynamic and cosmopolitan city.
With your own rental car at your disposal, Cape Town is yours to explore, and with so much on offer, you’ll never be at a loss for things to see and do. On top of your list should be a visit up to the top of Table Mountain, one of the most famous natural landmarks in Africa. The view from the top of Table Mountain is an impressive one - the glittering ocean, nearby Robben Island, and the rugged mountain tops of the Table Mountain National Park. Trips to the Two Oceans Aquarium, Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the Malay Quarter will ensure you’re never without something to do...or you could simply choose to laze away the day on one of Cape Town’s excellent beaches.
With 5 days in Cape Town, you will have the option to visit the scenic Cape Winelands towns of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl. Set amidst lush vineyards and majestic mountains, the Cape Winelands is the largest wine producing region in South Africa. Explore the original cellars – dating back to the first farmers in the Cape – where you will be able to sample some of the world’s finest wines and learn about the intricate processes used to produce them.
Accommodation at Victoria & Alfred Hotel is on a bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 5 – 8: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Drop your rental car at Cape Town International and catch your connecting flight onwards to Hoedspruit Airport for your safari in the world famous Kruger National Park.
