The building itself, declared a national monument in 1984, is a blend of Victorian and Georgian styles and dates back to the early 19th century.

There are only 12 luxury en suite bedrooms, which ensured guests a private and personalized stay. The décor is an eclectic blend of contemporary styles and antique finishes, resulting in a Bohemian chic feel inspired by Oscar Wilde.
