Camp Okavango is situated in the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta - offering guests exclusive safari accommodation. Boasting a pristine landscape enriched with crystal clear channels, a myriad of islands and serene lagoons, Camp Okavango assures a year round water wilderness experience.

The surrounding wetland ecosystem is rich in rare species such as the sitatunga antelope and Pel's Fishing Owl. The camp borders the famous Moremi Game Reserve, and provides guests with the opportunity to spot a wide variety of bird and wildlife species, including lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, hyena, zebra, kudu, African fish eagle and many more surrounding the camp.

Camp Okavango’s bold luxury complements the wilds of the bush, with the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge offering delightful facilities such as a cocktail bar, wildlife reference library and a dining room, which opens out onto an expansive outdoor lounge and a blazing fire place.

Rooms

Camp Okavango offers accommodation in 11 intimate East-African style safari tents. Tents are individually raised on teak platforms and are exquisitely furnished with heavy wooden furniture. Each tent offers an en-suite bathroom with private hot shower and waterborne toilet, and a private sun deck – perfect for enjoying the spectacular views surrounding your camp.
