Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge is a luxurious five star lodge situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. Surrounded by lowveld bush and Kalahari thornveld, Buffalo Ridge boasts expansive views over the northern plains and enormous volcanic intrusions, offering guests a scenic welcome.

Set in the 75 000 hectare reserve, Buffalo Ridge offers superb opportunities for game viewing including the Big 5 (black and white rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard) cheetah, wild dog, kudu, springbok, eland, red hartebeest, giraffe and impala. Buffalo Ridge is also a birdwatchers paradise with over 340 species of birds to attract your attention.

Rooms

Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge offers eight luxurious chalets, positioned on a ridge. Decorated in natural hues of colour and texture, the chalets boast a private veranda – perfect for viewing the expansive landscape. Each of the thatched suites offer sliding doors from each room, and the fully glassed shower allow guests to experience oneness with the African bush.
