DAY 1: VICTORIA FALLS

On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met by a South Africa 365 representative and transferred to your Victoria Falls hotel.

On your Victoria Falls holiday, enjoy a wide variety of activities; including helicopter flips, micro-lighting, abseiling, bungee jumping, elephant back safaris, Zambezi river cruises and many more.

DAY 2: MUDUMU NATIONAL PARK, NAMIBIA

Leaving Victoria Falls behind, you cross the Zambezi River and enter Namibia.

Upon arrival at your Namibian camp, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive in the Mudumu National Park. In contrast to the rest of Namibia, Mudumu is an impressive expanse of dense savannah and mopane woodland. On the Namibian safari portion of your tour, you may encounter large concentrations of game, including lion, leopard, hyena, elephant, buffalo, roan, sable, kudu, impala, oribi, zebra and hippo.

DAY 3: RUNDU, NAMIBIA

Your Namibian holiday continues west as you drive along the Caprivi Strip to the town of Rundu. Make your way to N’Kwazi Lodge situated on the banks of the Kavango River, which creates a natural border with Angola. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool while listening to the sounds of Mother Nature, or enjoy optional activities such as horse riding and sunset cruises.

DAY 4: CULTURAL EXPERIENCE IN RUNDU, NAMIBIA

After a sumptuous breakfast, head out to the town and visit a local church or school in Rundu – ensuring an unforgettable Namibian cultural experience and the chance to get to know the local community. In the afternoon you will have more time for optional activities you missed the day before, or to enjoy another relaxing afternoon by the pool.

DAY 5 – 6: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK, NAMIBIA

After breakfast make your way further west into Namibia and onto the renowned Etosha National Park.

On your Namibian safari, your days will be spent on game drives in search of Africa’s Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant), as well as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra and the numerous different types of hardy antelope the park has to offer.

DAY 7: DAMARALAND TO KAMANJAB & KHORIXAS, NAMIBIA

You leave Etosha National Park through the Main Gate and drive to Kamanjab, which is the gateway to Damaraland.  On your Namibian tour, visit a Himba village for a fascinating glimpse into their nomadic culture, before heading to see the ancient bushman paintings and etchings in the area. You’ll also visit the Petrified Forest, and the Organ Pipes, which are famous landmarks situated deep in the heart of Damaraland.

DAY 8 – 9: SWAKOPMUND, NAMIBIA

Your Namibian tour continues south west out of the dry interior of Namibia to the quaint German town of Swakopmund located on the Atlantic coast.

This leg of your Namibian holiday is yours to enjoy. Spend the day exploring Swakopmund or participate in some of the many optional activities, including sand boarding, quad biking, scenic flights, fishing etc.

DAY 10: NAMIB NAUKLUFT NATIONAL PARK and KUISEB CANYON, NAMIBIA

Today is spent exploring the barren, arid and rocky landscape of the Namib Naukluft National Park. Once you reach the lodge, spend the evening under the countless African stars and just relax.

DAY 11: SOSSUSVLEI AND WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA

We visit the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei.  These red sand dunes, which can reach a height of more than 300m, provide spectacular photo opportunities. After breakfast, make your way to Windhoek – Namibia’s capital city.  Dinner can be enjoyed in one of the city’s numerous restaurants (at your own expense).

DAY 12: WATERBERG PLATEAU, NAMIBIA

Leaving Namibia’s capital behind, drive north east to the Waterberg Plateau situated close to Otjiwarongo. On arrival, go for a short hike in the reserve to view the wildlife on the plateau.

DAY 13: GROOTFONTEIN, NAMIBIA

Departing from the Waterberg, drive deep into Bushmanland and on to Roy’s Rest Camp. The day will be spent stretching your legs on one of the scenic walking trails the camp has to offer, bird watching or simply relaxing at the waterhole.

Accommodation is at Roy’s Rest Camp or similar (bungalows with en suite bathrooms, swimming pool, bar, restaurant and curio shop).

DAY 14: BUSHMANLAND, NAMIBIA

Today you will take a guided visit to a local bushman community and witness their daily activities and way of life, including cooking, making crafts, preparing hides, making hunting equipment such as quivers or arrows or preparing medicine. You will also take a walk in the vicinity of the village with the hunters in search of honey, springhare or bush food.

DAY 15: MAUN, BOTSWANA

Leave Bushmanland behind, travel in a 4x4 vehicle to Thamalakane Lodge, via Maun - the gateway to the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. On your Botswana safari, spend the day bird watching or embark on a guided walk around the lodges.

DAY 16 – 17: KHWAI RIVER, BOTSWANA

Heading north, embark on a 3-and-a-half-hour drive to Bedouin Tented Camp situated in the Khwai Region - outside the Northern Gate of the Moremi Game Reserve.

On arrival at the lodge, there'll be some time to relax before heading out on a night drive in the hope of spotting some of the numerous nocturnal animals in the area.  The following day is spent on a mokoro excursion and game drives in the Khwai River and Moremi Game Reserve in search of Botswana’s wildlife, which includes herds of elephant, prides of lions, pods of hippos and so much more.

DAY 18: MAKGADIKGADI PANS, BOTSWANA

We leave the bush behind and travel east towards the Makgadikgadi Pans, a large salt pan in the middle of the dry savannah of Botswana. Spend the rest of the afternoon taking a relaxed stroll to the elephant hole and unwinding at Planet Baobab’s facilities.

DAY 19: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

Today you stop at one of the Makgadikgadi Pans. After taking in the wide-open, uninhabited spaces under the endless canopy of blue sky, your Botswana safari continues north to the game-rich Chobe National Park.

The second largest national park in Botswana, Chobe National Park covers 10,566 square km and has one of the greatest concentrations of elephant found on the African continent. On your Chobe safari, experience the area’s fantastic wildlife and the spectacular African sunset on a Chobe River Cruise.

DAY 20: VICTORIA FALLS

Leave Botswana and drive back to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Your guide will take you on a walk to The Falls, known by the locals as Mosi oa Tunya - the “Smoke That Thunders”.  One of the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ Victoria Falls is one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls in the world. On your Victoria Falls holiday, you will have the opportunity to take part in several optional activities such as white water rafting, cultural Mkuni Village visits, canoeing, horse trails, hot air ballooning and many more.

DAY 21: DEPARTURE

After a hearty breakfast you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport, concluding your 21-day African safari.
