TOUR OUTLINE

Your balloon safari starts with an early morning pick-up from your Johannesburg Hotel. You’ll be transferred to the balloon field of Bill Harrop’s Balloon Safaris.

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed with hot tea, coffee and biscuits, while the crew prepare the huge colourful balloons for your flight in the calm, stable morning air.

Once the balloon is ready, you are invited to climb aboard and take off for an hour-long flight. Experience a thrilling adventure as you glide gently above the tree tops of the beautiful Magalies River Valley and drift above the Magaliesberg mountain range. Savour the fresh morning air and sip fine champagne while enjoying panaromic views of Johannesburg – a region that boasts some of the best ballooning weather in the world.
