Arathusa Safari Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Sabi Sands Game Reserve, offering guests the ultimate safari experience. Set in 6000 hectares, this luxury 4 star accommodation is designed to harmoniously blend with the African bush, creating an intimate traditional atmosphere.

Set along the banks of a large lake, Arathusa Safari Lodge boasts a rich and varied landscape. Open savannahs, riverine thickets, river beds and a lush bush vegetation ensures interesting sights of fauna and flora surrounding the lodge.

The Arathusa Safari Lodge shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park, offering guests the opportunity to view an abundance of wildlife including the Big 5 – elephant, rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo – from the comfort of your private verandas. Birdwatchers will also enjoy a wide variety of bird species, including the rare Horus Swift, which can be spotted at the Arathusa Safari Lodge.

Accommodation

The Arathusa Safari Lodge consists of 13 individual luxury thatched-roof chalets, offering a king-sized bed and spacious en-suite bathroom (with a bath and separate indoor and outdoor showers). All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, mosquito nets, electronic safes, mini-bar, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a private veranda – perfect for viewing the lake and African bush. In addition, there are also four luxury suites which are secluded from the rest of the lodge - offering honeymooners’ exclusivity and privacy. These suites have their own private plunge pool and lounge areas.

Dining

Meal times at Arathusa Safari Lodge are an authentic African experience. Guests are treated to sumptuous dishes, fresh produce and home confectionary. Enjoy a continental breakfast served buffet-style and indulge in a delightful lunch prepared by the chef. Dine under the African sky while enjoying a three-course meal served with a range of fine South African wines.
