DININGThe Serondela Restaurant with a tranquil view of the Chobe River serves a sumptuous breakfast and dinner buffet daily. The specialties include a variety of venison and regional and local dishes served from the buffet. A themed a-la-carte menu and children’s menu is available. Alternative Dining Venues The “Kgotla” (Setswana for: “Meeting Place”) built in the bush a few hundred meters away from the Lodge is an African Village enclosed by three thatched roundavels made of river reeds. Traditional dishes such as Seswaa, Pap and Bogobe as well as a variety of pot roast and game dishes are served while guests are entertained by the local traditional dancers (at an additional cost) including a variety of traditional song’s and dancing. The set up at the African village is such that you sit around a fire on the logs and eat on your laps. The River Site is situated approximately 800 meters from the Lodge is a beautiful area on the riverbank where fish or traditional braais are hosted. Picnic benches are used at this venue. With lights set discreetly amongst the trees, this is a unique venue for an evening meal under the stars. The Bateleur conference room is an elegant and sophisticated setting, ideal for Gala Dinners and cocktails, Gala and Banquet menus are available on request. FACILITIES
