GENERAL INFORMATION

• Vilanculos Beach Lodge is a standard private lodge situated on mainland Mozambique.
• An ideal base for exploring the nearby town and markets, or venturing to the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago.
• Rates starting from R716 per person sharing per night 
  

From the comfort of the lodge you will be able to explore the exotic surroundings as well as have a perfect base to explore any of the archipelago islands.

From the lodge, guests can partake in numerous activities, including deep sea fishing, diving and snorkelling, romantic beach walks, dhow trips and simply catching a suntan under the Mozambican sunshine.

The Bazaruto Archipelago area has some of the best game fishing in the world (Boat charter available for day fishing trips)

ROOMS

The chalets are en-suite with either one or two bedrooms. There are 10 chalets in total, 5 for 2 persons with bedroom, en-suite bathroom and veranda and 5 family chalets with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, small lounge and veranda (capacity 5 persons). The maximum capacity of the lodge is 35 persons.

Each chalet is built on ironwood stilts with raised mahogany decks and a tasteful combination of mahogany and reed walls. The chalets have total privacy and most have magnificent sea view. We are starting with an upgrade on some of the rooms, as well as adding on one more two bed-roomed suite.

DINING

The beautifully constructed restaurant and bar offer traditional Mozambican and standard Western cuisine.

A new addition is the rustic "Sem Sapatos" (Without Shoes) Beach Bar, right on the fringe of the white sands. A wonderful spot to enjoy a sundowner after a relaxing day.
