Casa Rex  offers guests a sublime stopover in Vilanculous. Reminiscent of a gracious era, its buildings encompassed in lush gardens, Casa Rex overlooks the southern-central section of Vilanculous Bay.

Its prime location, as the gateway to Bazaruto Archipelago, provides access to superb beaches, lagoons and coral reefs make for perfect diving, goggling and snorkeling, underwater photography, deep sea fishing, surfing, wind-surfing, yachting & dhow excursions.The Bazaruto Archipelago is made up of several tropical islands and includes some awesome reefs which are home to a diverse array of marine life. As a result there are a host of water sports available in the area including world class deep sea fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling.

ROOMS

Accommodation is charming, decorated in an individual style with an emphasis in the lounge and dining areas on custom-crafted wood furniture and fittings.
With bathroom en-suite, all 13 rooms have a cool breeze & offer a striking view of the bay. For maximum comfort, mosquito nets are hung and windows are fitted with shutters against the occasional rain shower. The Acacia Rooms have air-conditioning and internet access.

DINING

The renowned a la carte restaurant which operates from 12:00 to 14:30hrs for lunch and from 19:00 to 22:00hrs for dinner, offers guests a magnificent array of fresh seafood dishes and both local and imported wines. Guets can  sip sundowners on the terrace or refresh in the swimming pool overlooking the harbour
