GENERAL INFORMATION

• Eikendal Lodge is a SATOUR approved guesthouse within easy reach of Cape Town Airport (25 minutes) and downtown Cape Town (35 minutes).
• Uniquely situated amongst the luscious vineyards of Eikendal you’ll find a haven of tranquillity and a home away from home.
• A charming conversion from a cluster of old farm buildings, Eikendal Lodge offers luxurious accommodation as well as all the modern conveniences required by the discerned traveller.
• Guests can enjoy noble wines at Eikendal Vineyards, within walking distance from the Lodge, where wine tasting and sales is on offer seven days per week. Cellar tours are conducted twice a day during harvesting season.
• A unique bonus for guests is the opportunity to participate in the grape picking process and afterwards see how “your” grapes begin their journey towards creating award winning wines!
  

Eikendal has proudly announced the opening of the Bobby Haas – Eikendal Cheetah Outreach Veterinary Facility on the farm. This facility cares for the Cheetah cubs from birth. Eikendal offers guests the unique opportunity to meet and come in very close contact with these magnificent animals!

ROOMS

The estate offers nine luxuriously furnished rooms and suites, each has a private terrace opening directly onto luscious vineyards, panoramic views of the Helderberg Mountain and the beautifully landscaped garden. All rooms are individually and tastefully decorated.

The rooms are en-suite, fully equipped with safe, kettle, tea/coffee tray, fridge, hair-dryer, direct telephone, television (Deukom/German TV.), bathroom amenities, towels and linen.

DINING

Enjoy a superb lunch or dinner at the elegant A-la Carte restaurant, Harald’s @ Eikendal, within walking distance from the Guesthouse.

Should guests wish to stay in for the nights, Eikendal offers you the option of a wonderful picnic basket, or variety of platters, which you can enjoy out on your terrace under the stars!

Hearty breakfasts are served on the terrace leading to the sparkling swimming pool or in the elegant dining room.
