The Long Beach is a five star waterfront retreat right on the beach in the picturesque lobster-fishing village of Kommetjie, a short thirty-minute drive from Cape Town. It is a special place to stay, offering a rare and rewarding alternative, romantic hideaway. Long Beach itself is eight kilometers of fine, white powdered sand, so pristine it alone will leave one breathless. Add to this the uninterrupted views across Hout Bay to Table Mountain, and you have the ultimate unspoilt paradise in which to walk, ride horses or surf. The interior design incorporates tranquil blues and hand painted natural fabrics to echo the exquisite coastal setting.

Each spectacularly appointed room faces the sea – as do the bathrooms.There is an inviting pool and relaxing sun decks from which guests can scan the ocean for whales, or catch their own lobster and request it for dinner.

The Lodge offers full gourmet breakfast made to the guest's liking including fresh fruit, juices and home-spun specialities,all beverages including premium spirits and bespoke wines.An in-house chauffeur service is available to guests for restaurant transfers.
