GENERAL INFORMATION

The Island of Inhaca is located 20 minutes by plane (34km) from Maputo and situated between bushy colonies of coconut trees and tropical vegetation. The island, a secure and tranquil location, is a stop-over for yachts, sailboats and cruises in search of a tropical alternative in the velvet waters of the Indian Ocean. Inhaca Island has been protected since 1976 and still boasts huge areas of untouched vegetation and expanses of velvety water.

The lodge famous for its wonderful gardens and its warm hospitality.

Complimentary non-motorised water sports (wind surfing, canoeing & paddling), and the use of scuba diving and snorkelling equipment is available for Pestana Inhaca Lodge guests.

• Walking trails/tours
• Jeep/tractor tours to the lighthouse and Marine
Biology Museum
• Boat tours to Portuguese Island and Santa Maria.

Daily flights are available. The airstrip is situated 10 minutes from the Lodge. Daily charter boats can be used as an alternative form of transportation. Transfers from the airstrip to the Lodge are complimentary for lodge guests with an approximate 15 minute drive by Land Rover.

The resort offers a total of 40 rooms (20 standard & 20 family), divided into double and twin beds. All the rooms are equipped with:

DINING

The Lodge has one main restaurant indoors, but meals and beverages are also served outside on the terrace around the pool next to the cocktail bar.
