The Steenberg Hotel is situated in the beautiful Constantia Valley on the Cape’s oldest wine farm, a mere 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town and the Waterfront. Its restored buildings date back to 1682, and have been declared National Monuments. This 5 star hotel is part of a luxurious estate, offers breathtaking scenery and views over False Bay, a luxurious spa, a championship golf course, a fine dining restaurant and a producing wine cellar.

The Steenberg Golf Club is accessible to hotel guests, club members and their guests only. Designed by Peter Matkovich, the 18-hole championship golf course meanders through the vineyards, pine forest and gentle waterways and can be enjoyed by all, from championship to junior level.

The hotel also provides various complimentary services including chauffeur driven service to local restaurants and shopping centers, a shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront daily, wine tasting and cellar tour at the Steenberg Winery, assistance with booking tee-off times at Steenberg Golf Club and complimentary port and sherry in all guest lounges.

Catharina's Restaurant was awarded the American Express Platinum Award for Fine Dining in 2005 and has been voted as one of the Top 10 Restaurants in Cape Town. Executive Chef Garth Almazan presents a fusion of classical cuisine amidst ageless splendour accompanied by award-winning Constantia wines.

A Cigar Bar offers pre- and post-dinner drinks as well as live jazz every Sunday served with buffet lunch.
