The Sabi Sabi selection of private game lodges in South Africa offers world-class standards in luxury accommodation, service, cuisine, special facilities and exceptional wildlife encounters. European hunters first established a camp on the south bank of the Sabie River in the 1830's, hunting for game, ivory and rhino-horn continued until the end of the century. It was only in 1978 that the first commercial lodge was built and for guests from all parts of the world.

Sabi Sabi has 4 lodges in the Sabi Sands Game reserve, revolving around their philosophy of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

• Selati Camp reflects Yesterday's colonial era, a time when 19th Century construction began on the Selati Railway Line linking the western goldfields to the continent's East coast.
