The Abalone Guest Lodge offers luxury accommodation and is situated on the magnificent ocean front of Hermanus in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Located on Sievers Point, Abalone Guest Lodge is in a prime position to view the Scenic Cliff Path that makes Hermanus the best land-based whale watching destination of the world.

With unsurpassed views to the outside position, experience a quiet, relaxed atmosphere in a tranquil setting. Boasting a beautifully landscaped garden with neat little pathways and herb wheels, this intimate guest lodge also allows guests the opportunity to relax under the shady trees.

Rooms

The Abalone Guest Lodge comprises four tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms with balconies offering guests stunning views of the surrounding mountain and ocean. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished with wrought-iron beds, complemented by South African art, and are equipped with under floor heating, heated towel rails, satellite television and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are spacious with baths, basins and showers complemented by luxury amenities - for your personal comfort.

Dining

A hearty English and continental breakfast can be taken in the country-style dining room or outdoors on the terrace overlooking the magnificent sea views. Complimentary coffee and tea are available throughout the day in the lounge and guests are invited to enjoy a drink/aperitif between 18h00 and 19h00. With over 65 restaurants in the vicinity, there are plenty of dining options to appease your appetite.

There are a myriad of activities on offer nearby the Abalone Guest Lodge such as horse riding, golf, shopping, walking and hiking trails, whale cruises, wine route and 4x4 trails. For the adrenalin seeking traveller there are a variety of activities available such as scuba diving, abseiling, paragliding and sea kayaking.
